Jambican's Organic Products

At Jambican we really are in no rush, and are quite appreciative of what our land gives us for our efforts. Soil is living and will produce what it needs for its own sustenance and good health. Subsequently, we spend much of our time making sure our plants have the space to develop on their own schedule.  We are not interested in killing every weed as they are huge contributors to our soil life.  
 
We feel our products have density of nutrition and flavour as a result of their paced development.

Our original salt

All herbs and vegetables are from our farm.


Shiso salt
(dried shiso and himalayan pink salt)

Dried beans

Harvested 2021. These beans are wonderful in  soup, stew, rice and peas and even dessert!

Miso

We make miso from our own beans.  This year we have made three different batches from yellow soy beans, black soybeans, and light green soybeans.  We age our miso for about one year, so our current batches will be available in early 2022.. stay tuned!

Black Radish

Long used as a medicinal, black radish is spicy, sweet, and crisp storage radish

Under the right conditions it will store for months, contributing to salads, pickles, soups, stir fry, stews, roasted vegetable dishes, and even juices all through the winter (and even into spring)
 
The skin holds much of the nutrition and the spiciness, so keep that in mind during preparations
